About Me

Hi, my name is Allyson, and I am currently studying at the University of Central Florida. I will be graduating in Fall 2025. I was born in Miami and moved to Orlando to explore new opportunities. Curiosity led me to pursue a career in journalism, where I strive to inform, engage, and give a voice to those who need it most.

I have interned with Central Florida Public Media, gaining experience in scriptwriting, researching stories, and interviewing sources. I also intern with UCF Athletics in production alongside ESPN Plus, where I operate replay systems, assist with camera operations, and create highlight packages. Additionally, I worked with WUCF’s NewsNight, contributing to production and editing for Florida Road Trip, a program exploring different cities and towns across the state.

In my free time, I love watching Formula 1 every weekend. One day, I hope to combine my passion for journalism and motorsports to become a Formula 1 reporter, bringing fans closer to the action and uncovering the stories behind the sport.
